Beddru

Italian painter Beddru distinguishes himself in conceptual contemporary art with experimental non-traditional materials. He uses, among other things, thick (plexi)glass panels. His figurative painting is made up of ink, paint and mixed media. He partly uses a reverse painting technique, inspired by Italian painters from the 1600s. Beddru focuses on the use of vibrant pigments, which results in a striking vibrancy and is characteristic of his style. This makes it exceptionally distinctive. The observer’s eye is captured by a fascinating balance of color and the mystery of the enigmatic figures, who seem to emerge from the depths of a mythological past. Beddru paints and currently lives in Brussels. He exhibits internationally on a regular basis, in both solo and collective exhibitions. His works of art are included in private collections, including those of the Saudi royal family.
