Jeroen van de Brug

Jeroen did jewelery design at the Rietveld Academy and then trained as a gemologist in Schoonhoven.

Years ago, Jeroen came into contact with Floris Meydam and his glass art.

He became acquainted with other glass artists and the various techniques and was extensively instructed by various masters such as Neil Wilkin (England), Marek Bartko (Czech Republic), Afro Celotto (Venice) and various Dutch glass artists.

He discovered that glass art had elements that corresponded to gemology such as light refraction and reflection. This resulted in his recognizable style of thick-walled glass that plays with the color in the object.
