Stephanie van der Beek is known for her unique epoxy paintings. Stephanie is self-taught and started painting at the age of 20 on the Côte d’Azur. She has seen, worked and lived in many places in the world, including Canada and America. She currently lives in the Netherlands, but she is German by origin. She uses a very special technique to create her works of art – namely alcohol ink and 96% alcohol. The particularly warm-colored metals are spread with a hair dryer – no brush is used. Depending on the light on the painting, the metals in her paintings shine differently. She is not only guided by the straight plane, but she also creates her works in organic or geometric shapes in both nature subjects or abstraction. This creates a playful and very fascinating effect.
Stephanie’s paintings are always the original work and each work of art is unique. The painting comes with a hanging system and personalized Artist’s Certificate of Authenticity.
In the gallery we can tell you more about her unique technique, art and motivation. Commissioned work is also possible. Visit Sille Gallery.
