I think cold wax is a great medium. I can scratch and rub wax endlessly and work in layers. I think “You” is a wonderful result of a long series of experiments. It turned out to be a very romantic portrait. Nice too, the small amount of gold leaf. which is incorporated into the portrait.

The painting is finished with wax. This gives it a soft sheen. This painting is very nice in combination with the painting “More than words” Both on display at Sille Gallery.

This painting will look great in a tray frame.
