Angelique Cremers

Angelique Cremers is a visual artist with a deep passion for portraying life in all its purity and emotion. After completing her studies at the Stedelijke Academie voor Plastische Vormgeving in Genk, she has worked as an independent artist for several decades. Her work revolves around capturing nature in its most honest form — transient, unpredictable, and wonderfully beautiful — and the life that quietly unfolds within it.   Angelique’s bronze sculptures originate from real-life model studies. Starting from clay, she adds various materials to evoke emotion through abstraction and estrangement. Each sculpture is cast using the cire-perdue method. For her, perfection lies in imperfection — rough edges, both physical and emotional, are an essential part of the process.

 

Her paintings are often abstract and built up from thick textures that create a play of shadows and form a visual link with her sculptural work. Behind every layer lies a hidden symbolism. She works broadly and diversely across multiple materials: from sculptures and paintings to corporate gifts, limited editions, and monumental works. Every commission receives a personal approach, tailored to the wishes of the client.
