Minke Buikema

Minke Buikema studied at the Amsterdam Fashion Institute.
With her creative talents and strong analytical skills, she has fulfilled various organizational positions in the clothing industry.
After working in fashion with passion and pleasure for many years, she decided to give her life a completely different direction. Painting had captivated her and, as a self-taught artist, she wanted to further develop her skills.
She now uses her talents for analytical thinking and spatial insight for her painting. Minke has a sharp eye for detail but loves to portray what she observes with a strength and directness that are so characteristic of her style. The colors, the shapes and the mood of the moment determine her work.
