Mo Cornelisse (1965) has been working as a full-time ceramist since 2012. She seeks the challenge in simplicity, material and contradictions. The wall objects indicate that you don’t just drink tea from porcelain. The ‘melting vases’ series surprises with the combination of material and shape. The ‘crying dolls’ series seem innocent and sweet at first, but they are certainly not.
