15 Years of ART! Exhibition

This coming November, Sille Gallery will celebrate a special anniversary: on November 11, 2026, the gallery will have been located in Oudewater for exactly 15 years.

Even before the gallery opened, Tamara Sille launched an online platform for selling art. After completing her studies at the Willem de Kooning Academy, she noticed that many artists preferred to devote their time and energy to their inspiration and creating new work rather than to the business side of sales. Drawing on her own background in art, she could easily relate to this and took over that part of the process for them. This laid the foundation for what would later become Sille Gallery.

That commitment to artists remains an important part of the gallery. We have been collaborating with several artists for nearly twenty years now. These long-standing relationships have fostered a shared evolution, in which both the artists’ bodies of work and the gallery’s reputation have grown over the years.

Today, Sille Gallery is run by a small, enthusiastic team that works daily on the presentation, sale, and promotion of contemporary art. The gallery provides a platform for both established artists and promising new talent. The collection is curated with care and a keen eye and is exceptionally diverse. It features, among other things, paintings, photography, sculptures, and wall objects, ranging from figurative to abstract works.
