Sille Gallery Anniversary Exhibition: 15 Years of ART!

On November 11, 2026, Sille Gallery in Oudewater will celebrate its 15th anniversary. This special milestone will be marked with a diverse anniversary exhibition, on view through the end of December.

Background in the Arts

The story of Sille Gallery began even before the physical gallery opened. After completing her studies at the Willem de Kooning Academy, Tamara Sille launched an online platform for selling art. She noticed that many artists preferred to focus on their inspiration and creating new work rather than on the business side of being an artist. Drawing on her own background in art, she understood this need and decided to support artists in this regard. What began as an online initiative grew into a gallery where personal involvement and long-term collaborations take center stage. Sille has now been working with various artists for nearly twenty years. During that time, not only have the artists and their bodies of work grown, but so has the gallery itself.

Surprisingly versatile

Today, Sille Gallery is supported by a small, enthusiastic team dedicated daily to the presentation, sale, and promotion of contemporary art. The gallery represents both renowned artists and promising new talent. The carefully curated collection is surprisingly diverse, featuring paintings, photography, sculptures, and wall objects, ranging from figurative to abstract.

Anniversary Exhibition: 15 Years of ART!

To mark this anniversary, Sille Gallery is presenting a celebratory exhibition that highlights the gallery’s versatility. A special selection of contemporary art showcases what Sille Gallery has stood for over the past fifteen years: quality, originality, and a personal connection between artist, artwork, and art lover.

Festive weekend

The anniversary will be celebrated festively on November 14 and 15. Visitors will be welcomed with a celebratory glass of bubbly and can let themselves be surprised by the art escape room. On Sunday, November 15, the gallery will be open extra hours from 12:00 to 17:00. The exhibition 15 Years of KUNST! can be admired at Sille Gallery in Oudewater throughout November and December. Everyone is warmly welcome and admission is free.
