Joachim van der Vlugt now represented in NL

 

Gallery Sille will be representing Joachim van der Vlugt from Luxembourg in the Netherlands.

This contemporary artist paints with oil on wood and carefully builds his layers. He leaves room for the accidental, creating intriguing abstractions. Both landscapes and portraits he combines with light, geometric shapes and lines. He limits himself to a brief color palette in which the influences of classical Dutch masters can be seen.

The realistic nuances of light along with the natural sheen of his high-quality oil paint are a joy to look at and create striking depth effects.

 

Van der Vlugt graduated from the Academie Beeldende Kunsten Maastricht (ABKM). He has an established name in Luxembourg. Paintings can also be seen in various locations in Germany and France (Paris) in prominent galleries. His handwriting and innovative techniques will not go unnoticed here in Holland. After the October exhibition, the work will be represented by Gallery Sille at oa. the Affordable Art Fair (AAF) in Amsterdam.
