Summer Exhibition “Drijven” Extended!

The summer exhibition *Drijven* has drawn large crowds over the past few months. The sold artworks will be delivered to their new owners in the coming weeks, but there is still plenty of beautiful art to see. That’s why the exhibition has been extended until mid-October! At Sille Gallery, you’ll discover an extensive collection of contemporary art in which the theme “Drijven” is depicted in a variety of ways.

More than thirty artists explore how the concept of “floating” can take on different meanings—from literally floating on water to going with the flow of life, seeking balance, or, conversely, letting go of control. Paintings, sculptures, photography, and wall installations come together to form a multifaceted exhibition that invites you to pause, look, and let yourself be surprised.

As it does every year, a single overarching theme serves as the common thread of the exhibition. With this, Sille Gallery continues a tradition that began in 2015 and has since grown into a beloved annual event. Previous themes have included Red Pepper, Airy, Rhythm, Delft Blue, Mirror, Spin, Out of Balance, Loose & Tight, The Color, and Growth.

The theme “Drifting” invites reflection. Sometimes you let yourself be carried along by the flow of daily life; other times, you consciously chart your own course. When do you let go, when do you adjust your course, and what actually keeps you afloat? Each artist offers a surprising interpretation of these questions from their own perspective.

The exhibition has been extended through mid-October 2026 and is open on Thursdays and Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. From Sunday through Wednesday, visits are by appointment only. Everyone is welcome; admission is free.
