Exhibition Overview 2025

The exhibitions at Sille Gallery change throughout the year. Almost every season features a new exhibition, with a variety of perspectives – from duo exhibitions to thematic presentations. For each exhibition, the artists create new work, or existing works are selected to fit the theme. This creates a cohesive presentation each time in which each artist shows his or her own style and technique.

Between exhibitions, there is always a permanent collection on display at the gallery in Oudewater. The gallery is open from Thursday through Saturday. We are also occasionally open on extra days, for example on Easter Monday, April 21. These extra days are announced through our website and newsletter. Spring 2025 Exhibition

Spring has arrived and spring is showing itself. From the beginning of March until the end of May, the Spring Exhibition will be on display at Sille Gallery. During this period we will be showing works by Angelo Moyano, Babette Degraeve, Jenny Boot, Hans Withoos, Saskia Hoeboer, Marthijn de Groot, Evelyn Hamilton, Suus Suiker, Martin Copier, Kaat Stieber and Barend Houtsmuller, among others.

Summer exhibition GROEi

This summer we are hosting our Summer Exhibition for the tenth time – an annual outdoor event where the gallery is open all summer long. This edition with the theme GROWTH, a word that can be interpreted in many ways. In nature we see it everywhere: trees, flowers and grasses are in full bloom, young animals are growing up, and people are also going through their own development.

We cordially invite you to the official opening on Saturday, May 24 at 3:00 pm. The exhibition can be visited until the end of August. More information.

ROOTS exhibition

In the fall we present ROOTS – an exhibition where art and cultural background come together. We show works by artists who have their roots in other countries, but continue their artistic practice in the Netherlands. There is also space for international artists whom we represent as galleries in the Netherlands. With this combination, we bring together diverse perspectives and highlight this group in a special way.

The grand opening will take place on Sunday, Oct. 26, at 2 p.m. The exhibition can be visited from Oct. 24 to Nov. 22. More information.
